The Power of Touch
Is Massage Therapy Right for Me?

Science is not sure what is happening in the body during a massage. Therapists work on muscles, bones, nerves, blood vessels, and more, each therapist with different techniques and quality of touch. What everyone agrees with is that there are not many risks to getting a massage. Studies found that babies who received massage were more social and easier to sooth. They slept better, lowered the risk of breathing problems and extended into children, teens and adulthood; especially those with chronic pain.
It's important to find the therapist that is just right for you. Massage involves talent that goes beyond training, certification or licensure. Some people are just gifted with touch. In addition to the therapist, there are techniques that work for some, but not all. Trial and error are often necessary to find the therapist that you feel the most comfortable with and gain the most results from.
Attention New Clients: mention this blog for half off your first visit when you purchase a package of three! We offer this because, it is hard to be discerning between therapists when the therapist is not provided the time to implement a treatment plan tailored to your body's unique needs.
