Headaches are Synonymous with Misery
OUCH!!!!! Not Again...

Do you feel like this?
"Trigger point massage is an effective and safe strategy for prophylactic treatment of CTTH (chronic tension-type headache)" (Karimi et al, 2021, p323)
Headaches can be debilitating and challenging to treat due to the numerous physiological and psychological factors involved. These can range from nutrient deficiencies or excesses, hormonal imbalances, structural anomalies, injuries, infections, to the most common cause: muscular imbalances. Often stemming from stress and muscle tension, massage therapy is considered an effective remedy.
Regardless of the cause, there are ways to assist. Whether it's through providing a moment of self-care and relaxation, releasing pressure points in tight muscles, enhancing circulation, encouraging hydration through the extra water consumed post-massage, or the strategic positioning on the treatment table, these methods can reduce headache pain and frequency. While NSAIDs like Ibuprofen can offer temporary relief, they may have long-term side effects, such as digestive issues and recurring pain once the medication wears off, that could outweigh the benefits.
